Holidahs....

Happt Holidays!

My Thaksgiving was ok. I spent it writing and sleeping. I am not getting much sleep right now. My 7 month old kitten went into her first heat and then my moter's white one followed suit. Both like to howl at that point.

On th NaNoWriMo front I have managed 15k words. I am having issues so,,,,,

I am going to write tomorrow. Apparently SciFi is running a reply of episodes leading up to the new season! Yay!

I have alo discovered a way to help my YA novel and am working on that slowly. I read book one of The Princess Diaries and it looks like that is my option. I am going to be better prepared for next year's NaNoWriMo.

Today is the Battle of Utah. All I can say is.... GO Cougars!

Sleepy Writer

This one will be short as I am tired.

I am still sick, but that is not really bugging the creative juices. I have spent time sleeping instead of writing at points, but so far I have pushed out a tad over 1,000 words.

I am going to sleep some and then see if I can do more so that I am back on track tomorrow!

I am determined to do this!

On the computer front, I am d+rwaiting for an email or call from HP about my burner because it is refusing to burn a dvd with a dvd+r even though the software says it is supported.

I am probably going to take the laptop in for a wipe to be safe seeing it was acting up too, but that is after the holidays!

Zzzzzzzzz!

I Know.......

Today is the anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgereld. 32 years ago 29 men lost their lives in a freak storm on Lake Superior. I was a child living in Toledo when it happened. It is something that I will not soon forget.

I have yet to write today. We got company and my ribs hurt from all the coughing I did, along with the growling. My desktop crashed and it took 4 hours to reinstall things.

I am going to try and work some as soon as I am done here.

NaNoWriMo Week One

Well week one is done, and it has been a doozy! I came down sick on the 2nd with something that is a combo of a cold, sinus infection, and bronchitis! I was unable to write untill yesterday, and as I am humming along I hit a wall. Bang, face first! Ouchie!

I am up to 6,000 words at this point, though, which is ok. I plan on writing tonight while watching The Wizard of Oz, which is on cable.

In other news, my alma mater lost in the soccer State semi-finals yesterday. They played hard and I am proud to see then have gotten this far!

I also have to extend my condolances to the Osmond clan. Loosing a father is not easy. I lost mine in 1997, but we had been in contact for only a short time before that and I was devistated when it happened. The idea of Eternal Families helps alot with the pain, and it is probably aiding them right now.

More Later! Research is calling, gotta get past my wall!
